Dim and den sum more
Any good crush starts with the chase—all the running around and heart-shaped anxiety that comes with wondering when you’ll see him again, when you’ll get some more.
But true love settles down and lasts a lifetime. And, well, hot true love settles down and has a few trucks on the side. At least that’s the case with Dim and den sum.

After Dim and den sum gave Facebook fans the “we need to talk” last week, I was dying to know what’s up. They mentioned something about tailgating in the muni lot a couple days later, and I hoped that wasn’t “it.”
It was not.
It was news that Dim and den sum is opening a restaurant on West 25th (that’s West Side Market area for the unfamiliar) this spring. No word on the exact location. Camp out long enough, though, and you might catch sight of sum.
Chris Hodgson told Scene that his food truck peaked the awesomeness they could achieve in a small Chevy van. The restaurant will aim to create a similarly hip experience with an open kitchen and sit-down environment.
Additional trucks, perhaps including a long-rumored steamed bun mobile, are on tap as well. Here’s to a new (and delicious) empire!
